Vazzy's Cucina — Establishment, food and bar at 706 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, Connecticut.

We had a huge group from a wake service. Buffet style where no tray got even close to being empty before they had another tray to replace it. The food was excellent chicken was moist and melted in your mouth. The beef tender tips were butter knife cut-able and the flavor perfect. Service was spot on. Impressive with the huge group we had. Bravo.

My husband and I decided to venture out for our first visit here at the Shelton location. The two of us were really looking forward to a night out to enjoy a new restaurant and each other's company.
Unfortunately, we ended up waiting an entire HOUR to get food. The waitress showed very poor service on even basic necessities and disregard for us. The restaurant was not busy and every one around us had already gotten their food and were on desert or had completed their meal entirely, making no excuse for why we hadn't received our food.
The waitress told me they were out of what I had originally ordered, and didn't bother to come and let me know In a timely manner so that I could put in a new order, which prolonged our already famished bodies. She did not apologize or was friendly about it at all. When the food finally came, she said nothing and didn't bother to even ask if we needed anything or clear any plates. We got one refill of water the entire time we were there for an hour and half +. We really expected some better service but the restaurant made it very clear to us that they do not care about customers.
We made sure to speak to the manager on our way out and he didn't even apologize for the situation, said barely anything which was a huge disappointment in their service again and lack of care and respect to their customers.
This restaurant needs some serious management and wait staff remodeling.
When customers come up to you as the manager, you are supposed to CARE. That guy was a complete joke of a manager and completely dismissed us. How can you think it's acceptable for tour customers to wait an hour to get food with terrible service and not apologize or try to render the situation? This is a really poor excuse of a restaurant and we will not recommend them to anyone in the future.
The restaurant never contacted me after multiple attempts of me trying to resolve this issue and I had no luck, so they obviously do not care.
